What is Lifeline Wireless Service?
What is Lifeline Wireless Service?
Lifeline is a U.S. Government benefit program that provides a discount on phone service for qualifying low-income consumers.
It helps ensure that eligible consumers have the opportunities and security that phone service brings, including being able to connect to jobs, family, and emergency services.
To participate in the program, applicants must be receiving eligible state or federal assistance or meet certain income requirements.
Applicants must present valid Proof of Eligibility and U.S. Government Issued ID when applying for Lifeline.

How to qualilfy for Lifeline
Program Based Qualification
Applicants can qualify for California Lifeline if they are enrolled in any one of these qualifying public assistance programs:
Medicaid/Medical * SNAP * Section 8 * WIC * National School Lunch Program * Temporary Assistance for Needy Families * CalWorks * StanWorks * Welfare to Work * GAIN * LIHEAP * Federal Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit Program
Income Based Qualification
Applicants can qualify for California Lifeline if their Household's total annual gross income is at or less than these annual income limits:
